Refire

this piece had yellow engobe and clear glaze (weg 1010) fired to mid fire.The out come was not to my liking so i refired in a raku kiln,using molly's matt glaze.I like the richness of the red,almost bronze,the inside of pot had glass beads inbedded into the clay.created with paper clay.

Grandparents Day

What a lovely day,Bob and I went to grandparents day at Holy Family school which some of our grand children attend.

After talking about the things we did in our school days,the games we played,we were entertained by some of the children singing and dancing.

Following this we were served with a scrumptious morning tea.

Then it was back to the classroom for more interaction with the children,after which we had a lovely lunch.
